On September 11, 2025, in Qingdao — at the "China Digital Transformation Elite Summit — Automotive Edition" hosted by PTC, nearly 160 automotive industry elites gathered to explore the path of digital transformation in the "AI-defined automobile era." In his welcome address, Mr. Liu Qiang, PTC Senior Vice President and President of Greater China, shared PTC's latest intelligent product lifecycle solution strategy. He noted that based on the original digital thread strategy, PTC is introducing AI capabilities to empower enterprise transformation and innovation. Mr. Liu believes that an important reason for the slow progress of AI deployment in industrial enterprises is the diversity of application scenarios and the high complexity of full-value-chain data. He emphasized that the key to adopting AI is to solidify the product data foundation, achieve online business processes and end-to-end connectivity, accumulate accurate and rich data assets, and then define application scenarios driven by demand before introducing AI capabilities.
Dr. Shi Zhanbei, CTO of PTC Greater China, shared from a technical perspective how AI empowers automakers to move from digitalization to intelligence. Dr. Shi said the automotive industry is shifting from the traditional model to a "software & AI-defined" model; PTC has released a corresponding AI transformation strategy, integrating AI technology into its full line of solutions — CAD, ALM, PLM, IoT, AR, SLM — empowering end-to-end closed-loop innovation across the product lifecycle. He proposed that AI-empowered digital transformation should first achieve capability online and business online, build an enterprise data foundation, and then introduce AI capabilities scenario by scenario. In PTC's current product roadmap, AI has been introduced based on an embedded AI architecture in scenarios such as generative design, requirements quality review, part classification, design assistants and intelligent dispatching.

As an important technology partner in the PTC ecosystem, SOIN AI co-founder and CTO Tengyu Hu, under the title "AI Technology Supports Automakers in Embracing Business Change," shared the company's rich experience in Agentic AI deployment. Continuously Cultivating Industry Scenarios, Co-Building the AI Deployment Ecosystem
This is not SOIN AI's first cooperation with PTC on AI deployment practice. In March this year, at the PTC Xiamen Summit — Electronics and Medical Devices Edition, Ting Yang, Vice President of Sointech Group and CEO of SOIN AI, shared her views on AI deployment in manufacturing from a technical perspective, emphasizing that AI technology selection must start from business pain points and derive technology choices in reverse.
